We are all a work in progress and you don’t have to work alone

We’ve been shaped by out experiences so far - this doesn’t mean we have to stay where we are. We can do things differently to get different results any time we choose. Sometimes we can make changes by ourselves and sometimes we need support - there is no shame in that.

Welcome to a Work in Progress, where we support each other to make better choices and heal from our past.

You can have support, structure and safe connection that’s designed to help you move forward at your own pace. Without overwhelm or pressure or long term dependency.

Sometimes support needs to look different for adult children of alcoholics (ACOA) and those navigating similar patterns

Growing up around alcohol misuse or unpredictable family dynamics can leave lasting patterns that follow us into adulthood. Many adult children of alcoholics experience:

  • Over-responsibility and people-pleasing

  • Difficulty trusting themselves or others

  • Fear of conflict or abandonment

  • Emotional overwhelm alongside high functioning

  • A deep desire for stability, connection, and growth

Even if you don’t identify with the label ACOA you may still recognise these patterns in yourself. These responses are not personal flaws, they are learned survival skills.

Healing often works best in spaces where others understand, support is structured, and growth happens at your own pace. You don’t have to navigate it alone.

Many members arrive feeling isolated in these experiences and discover they’re far from it.

Support that meets you where you are

Inside the app you’ll find different ways to move forward depending on what feels right for you.

  • Small, safe spaces where shared experience builds understanding, encouragement, and connection

  • Structured multi-week journeys that help you work through specific challenges with support and accountability

  • Self-paced resources created by experienced facilitators, available whenever you need them

  • Connect, share, and support each other in safe, moderated social spaces. Our online community is designed to let you build relationships and learn from peers without the overwhelm or risk of unmoderated platforms

You can explore support freely before you choose how to participate.
