Your undertaking on this journey is to work to gather knowledge about the ones who caused the trauma and its effects. Casually and gradually, with every word and deed, they have wound this tighter. You are going to turn the ones who hurt them back into humans. Where they once were mighty and magical, you will bring them down to their true size.

All children play their roles in any family; addictions or no. The clown, the scapegoat, the clever one, the naughty one. The easygoing one. The sporty one. The popular one. The antisocial one. We will explore which one you you use the most and how to use some of the other ones.
-
You will discover what drives you, what your values are, and whether they are actually yours or part of the effects of trauma.
-
We need recovery goals in our lives to give us purpose and direction. Goals can be large or small. You will discover how goal setting can give you the power to run your own life and make your recovery more real.
